In reality, ceramic coatings are an advanced form of paint and surface protection that offer long-lasting durability, exceptional gloss, and easier maintenance, but understanding what they can and cannot do is important before deciding whether they're right for your vehicle.

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer, typically made from silicon dioxide (SiO₂), that chemically bonds with a vehicle's surface to create a transparent, durable layer of protection.
